And that is what our 8-day summer retreat is about: feeling wildly, deeply alive.
We will gather in August (Elokuu in Finnish) for an authentic, well-curated experience about why Finland has been ranked the happiest country on earth for nine years in a row. Finns are not people to brag on it, on the contrary, we would probably say this cannot be true.
But there is science, and there is summer.
If you’ve ever been to Finland in summer, you most likely know the feeling already.
If not, you have to experience it because it is truly so unique, you can't really put it into words. It’s like the world stops spinning and there is nothing to do and no-where to be. Although Finns probably work more during their summer break than over all other 9 months together, it is work that takes place in and around the summer house at the lake.
During our Summer Elo Retreat we will dive into all things Finnish and you will be able to get a true insight of how summers are spent.
Through Finnish rituals and wisdom like sauna, ice bathing, forest walking, intentional silence, as well as powerful yoga asana, breathing and sound sessions, and delicious, nourishing plant-based meals, you’ll reconnect with the part of you that longs for aliveness, for connection, for something real.
For us luxury is personal. We host maximum 8 guests per retreat so you get the space, care, and stillness you actually need.
We don’t have officially announced our dates yet, as we are still clarifying some details with our beautiful location at Ukkojärvi.
But if you already know, this is what you want, and it doesn’t really matter, which the final dates are, you can already save your bed with a deposit.
